These pretty cool photographic pieces by Chris Jordan are part of a series based on various statistics. I’m not sure of the source or how accurate these stats are, but I deffintely think he does a great job of clearly communicating the sheer volume of the numbers, which might normally seem unimpactful. However, I think it could be more powerful if the mosaics created imagery thats was more provocative and delt with the subject matter. If nothing else, it’s some good eye-candy.

These works will be on exhibit at the Von Lintel Gallery on June 14th in New York. Check it out.
