Gosh, I feel so much safer now. Seriously, this is a horror story of mammoth proportions. Because I’m a mom. Of a toddler. And I understand about sippy cups. Boy, do I understand.

view the vdeo. liquids are not permitted through the security check point. last time i checked water is a liquid. if you must bring a sippy cup through security make sure its empty and purchase what you need once you’re through security. 9-11 Rememer!!!! we are not talking about someone who hasn’t flown in 13 years she’s a secret service agent come on!! not to mention she intentionally poured the water on the floor in front of tsa and the police. if tsa and police officers knew what terrorist look like i would be able to keep my shoes on while going through securtiy but they don’t so they have to treat everyone the same. i am grateful they dod what they do. i take it you didn’t see all the people that were forced to walk through the water mrs. emmerson inentionally poured on the floor. thank God it wasn’t my grandma. people she is a liar just view the videos

Please. Get a grip. It’s a sippy cup and a child. We”ve profiled and surveiled and spied on each other to no end. But the acknowledgement of all that goes out the window as soon as we hear of something ridiculous like this. “Vigilence in the face of unknown sippy cups” is some people’s motto. I suppose they’ll never feel safe. I pity them.
It’s a bigger testament to the need for common-sense TSA policies. What we’ve got now is rooted in stark fear of an enemy we have much better knowledge of. Or we can ignore common sense and strip and cavity search little old ladies in wheelchairs. After all, you don’t know what a terrorist looks like!

Fly through Reagan National Airport at your own risk. This is similar to when the police beat up a girl at Reagan National Airport in DC. They assaulted this girl and gave her a serious brain injury and made her entire body black and blue. Then they arrested HER and charged her with a made up crime to cover up the police brutality. The airport police are supposed to be there to protect us from terrorists, not beat up and harass young women, mothers and babies.
