Need something cool to put on your wall, but low on cash like me? Well look no further than The Sect of Homokaasu’s free online ‘rasterbator.’ With this cool+free online app, you can create giant posters of your own images, in rasterized form. Just upload a photo (or grab one that already exists online), pick how many sheets of paper you’d like your image spread over, and tell The Sect the size of the paper on which you will be printing. Print out the PDF they generate for you, trim the sides of the paper, and tape it all together. Slap it on the wall, and voilà– you’ve got a badass, one-of-a-kind poster!
Here’s the one I made from a trip I took in Australia a few years back, versus the original image (keep in mind the rasterized version is about 24″ x 32″):

TSoH also has a gallery of very cool rasterized images..the ones in color are especially awesome!
