Blooming Tea

January 22nd, 2008 by timbotron

Saw this at a local Japanese grocery store and had to give it a try (though I could really give a sh!t about tea). It’s called ‘Blooming Tea’ [link] - in hot water, the tea bundle slowly opens up into a flower. Something to do while you’re waiting for your tea to brew.

Here’s a time-lapse video I made:

This is awesome! Great post and extremely well done video, Timbo! I’m definitely going to grab some of this for a woman in my life; but I can’t say who– she may or may not be reading the site! ;)

Oh John, now my day will be filled with wondering about who this lady might be. And sadly at the end I´ll realize that people don´t necessary always refer to me.. :D And thanks to Tim, this was nice start for the day! You have the best soundtracks ever in videos.

haha, oh the mystery. hmm, how do you say it in Finnish– mun mammani?

Wonderful! Your Finnish must be quite fluent. Now I demand at least a monthly post in Finnish for the transatlantic readers (who are, obviously, mainly from Finland).
