“The Orphanage” (El Orfanato)

Haunted orphanage!!
Creepy ghost with a doll mask.
Ghost kids are the worst.

I squealed like a girl.
What’s the Spanish word for “AAAAAAGHHH”?
Almost puked tapas.

Just going out on a limb here, but I think the Spanish word for “AAAAAAGHHH!” is “AAAAAAGHHH!”

Or possibly, “AY YAY YAY!!!!” — though I know that screws your syllable count in haiku…

  2. Isabel Says:

No, no, no, “AAAAAAAGHHHH!” in spanish is “AAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeee!”. At least that’s what it is when you watch “Chuckie - El Muneco Infernal” (aka Child’s Play) on Telemundo. That’s how they scream when they get killed. But yea, it messes up your syllable count a little bit.

  3. Isabel Says:

BTW, have you seen “The Devil’s Backbone”? Kinda creepy too. Or……if you like “foreign creepy”, try “Old Boy” (Korean).

  4. timbotron Says:

“The Devil’s Backbone” . . . oh man, creepy. ‘Santi’ the ghost has to be one of the best ghost portrayals out there.
Haven’t seen ‘Old Boy,’ but I plan to rent it this week.
    Thanx Isabou.
