Dong Dong Mao
February 26th, 2008 by timbotronI have no idea what “Dong Dong Mao” means, but you know it’s going to be good when the description says:
“桃花朵朵开 peach blossom one after another.”
My personal hypothesis: this is a Chinese boy-band audition tape.

That has got to be one of the strangest videos I’ve ever seen. If only we knew what they were saying!

I asked a Chinese research assistant of mine today what this means, and while she didn’t tell of the lyrics, this apparently is a very famous Chinese song that all people in China know, and is meant to be humorous. Well, I got that part at least!

Wow. So awesome. I think my favorite part was the dude that you could see in the background in the apartment at various moments. Can you imagine being roommates with these freaks!
