Movie Review: 10,000 BC Holy Sh!t This Was Bad!!

Blogadilla co-author Allison and I just got back from watching 10,000 BC. The following is an inventory of our comments driving home from the movie:
•”It’s sad when the best actor in a movie is a computer animated Wooly Mammoth.”
•”If they show this on an airplane, I’m jumping.”
•”This is what happens when you take drugs in a natural history museum.”
•”I’ve picked scabs that were more satisfying.”
•”It was a great comedy.”
•”Roland Emmerich peaked at Godzilla.”
•”10,000 BC – yeah, 10,000 Bad Choices.”
•”Why is it that everyone in 10,000 BC looked like Adam Duritz from Counting Crows?”

Thanks for this! It looked promising on the preview. I would have been MAD if I’d sat through such a bad movie.
BTW, just saw Spiderwick at IMAX. I never read the books, but was satisfying enough of a kid’s movie. OH! and they showed the trailer for “Kung Fu Panda”. NYUK NYUK! I HAVE to go see that, at IMAX no less.

Well lets see you all do better. Clearly no one has any imagination here. I see no resembalance between the actors and Adam Durizt, apart from a sligh same hair stlye with the young boy. Yes, some of the acting was bad but like i said, use ur imagination. People are way to critical these days. This was the work of someone else’s imagination and they had the balls to go out there and make something of it, to share with everyone else. Job well done i say. I couldnt do it better.

No one was complaining that the movie lacked imagination. Tragically, it lacked everything else.

Wow this was without a doubt the worst movie I ever saw!!!! I was on a plane to hong kong and wanted to crash so that the tape could be destroyed…..how the hell did this make it to the theaters!!

oh and dont listen to tash!!!! he must have been an investor in the movie as he said “I couldn’t do better” tash must be deaf dumb blind and mute! and enjoy stimulus from electric shocks to the nether regions. Really, I am easily entertained but this was rubbish!

well i really enjoy this movie.The dramatic and virtual situations n location r superb,camilla belle is really so cute………n im a fan of her,her eyes is sooooooo……..[i don't have words to explain myself].I will give the credit to the director ,for adjusting excellent coordination between each n evry part of the movie n make link in each situation which keep our seat belt tite………… each n evry person in the movie do there jobe very well………………move on!!!!!! waiting for its next sequel,!!!!!

i think your all friggin stupid 10000 bc may not have been the greatest movie ever created.. nor had the best actors ever..but i garauntee that there isnt a damn one of you who posted to this blog could act any better..you all need to move out of your mothers basement get a glimps of the real world.. then maybe youll be able to recognize talent

I agree with Josh. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst. It could have been WAY worse. And none of you, I don’t care how well you claim to be, could’ve done better.Even though the actors weren’t the best, so what?Who else would you put in a movie like that? Angelina Jolie? Kate Hudson? Johnny Depp?None. They’re all great, but the CAN’T fit the profile needed for this type of movie. If you saw Johnny Depp in a movie like that, what would you think?You would be thinking ‘What. The. Hell?!’ They just don’t fit in that type of movie.

I don’t understand how you can say all of that rubbish about a fairly good movie, it doesn’t make sense. Just because one or two people watch this movie and don’t like doesn’t mean that everyone has to hate it too. Isabel, just because they say it’s a bad movie doesn’t mean that you have to automatically hate it. I thought it was okay, but if I thought it was bad I wouldn’t go trashing the actors, did they write the scripts? No. Maybe if you think it was bad you should make a spoof or something, but I don’t think you could even accomplish THAT. So don’t go trashing the actors because you thought that their acting was bad, if you thought that their acting was bad then go talk to the directors. Like the many people before me said, why don’t you people try to do better?
