Last Saturday was the 86th annual Palo Alto May Fete.

It’s a parade.
But it may be one of the only parades in the world where you can see Brownies, Imperial Stormtroopers, Kung Fu schools, highschool bands, go-carts, and a street cleaner.

It’s awesome.

   Me loves parades!!! And me loves marching bands!!!! I live near the Fire House and high school track in Malden. I was SO excited when I heard a parade going by my house! I leaned out the window only to discover the “parade” was the high school band, a police car, two cheerleaders and the Rotary Club. SUCK ASS.

   I miss the Stanford Band randomly running through downtown Palo Alto and playing on the street corner(s). Haw.

   Parades………..I think I’ll start the annual “Isabel ROCKS” birthday parade. I DO have a baton. Think I’ll get arrested if I march down my street twirling my baton?
