I found Red Velvet Twinkies in Knoxville, Tn some years ago – the one pictured above looks similar but mine were in a Twinkie package.
Also, I went to the Wsl-Mart website and did not find these. Does anyone have an idea how I might order some? Live in DC and don’t have a WalMart near. thanks, ml

Wal-Mart changed suppliers and no more RV twinkies! These little cakes are addicting and now they are GONE. I found a website that carries them… Mrs Freshleys? http://www.snackmania.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=S&Product_Code=FLO650C48055&Category_Code=650 but their price is outrageous. I bought a box anyway.

I too loved these things. In fact of late my whole family had been talking about them so it was to my surprise when I went to wal-mart the other day to learn they no longer carried them. We originally found them in the south east under the Blue Bird brand of snack cakes and they were called Red Velvet Bingles. Then about 5 year ago we move up to Indy and I feared they were going to be one more item added to the list of thing we left behind along with good sweet tea (until McDonalds came out with theirs) and fresh sea food. Then one day I came across these at wal-mart and thought for a moment I was back home. Now, alas I guess I am back to buying as many boxes as I can find when I go home for vacations and the such.
Diana, if you see this I checked out your link, can you please tell me how many came in that box.

I have been looking for these for months. My boyfriend went to visit his family for a long while & has been craving these and I cannot find them anywhere.
( They’re so delicious & addicting.

I was addicted to these about 6-7 years ago. I stumbled upon them at Wal-Mart accidentally and couldn’t get enough. I would love to make them into a wedding cake. Too bad they don’t carry them anymore. I can’t click on the link above from Diana. Can anyone help with a place I can purchase them? No hurry at all but want them in my future. Thanks!!

I have been searching for these for 2 years! I found them at walmart 2 years ago, fell in love with them and now I am heartbroken! They are amazing! Can you still get them at your local walmart?
