The South China Mall:

1,500 spaces, only ~10 functioning stores.

“. . . the mall entered the world pre-ruined . . . “

WOW!! That’s crazy. Although, I HAVE been to the Mall of America in MN. That was mind-boggling. I’m not much of a shopper to begin with so I found it confusing, too crowded, too big and annoying as f***. I bought something at one store got to the other side and realized the lady had ripped my clothes when she took off the security tag. So I had to walk AAAAAALL the way across the damn mall, past the giant snoopy (which kind of skeeved me out), to go return the items. THEN, to get to our car, we wandered around for about an hour because you have to remember a COLOR, a STATE, and an ANIMAL for your car’s location. We forgot the freaking animal so we knew the general “vicinity” of our car. :( No bueno. On the upshot, maybe they can turn this giant mall thing into housing????
