Colour Lovin’
November 15th, 2008 by timbotronColour Lovers is the Urban Dictionary of colors . . . or colours. Designers can identify and name their favorite colors, share appealing color combinations and palettes, and talk about colors.
And like Urban Dictionary, it lends itself to sophomoric experiments.
Here are a couple color palettes I’ve recently created:
The Exorcist: Colors inspired by Linda Blair in “The Exorcist” – Linda Blair Flesh, Lesion Red, Bruise Purple, Exorcist Vomit Green, Eye Green.
Bodily Functions: Colors inspired by bodily functions – Too Much Coffee, Vitamin Pee, Earwax, Dry Scab, and Brown Number 2.
