Heywood’s deductive reasoning: use an umbrella in China and you will get robbed.

  2. Avery Says:

studied in china for a summer. i had a backpack but always wore it in front of it. at first i was so paranoid based on all the stories like this that i put a lock on the zipper of the backpack. HA! but that got really old fast…but still..never wore the backpack on the back….plus it was too hot anyways…

btw..the umbrella theory is good..except that EVERYONE was using an umbrella…it’s mainly to protect oneself from the sun. i said ‘forget that’ when i first saw it..by the end of the summer..i was using it also.
