McGangbang: The Ultimate Fast Food Sandwich

Monday, December 28th, 2009

I’m sure I have, at one time in my life, eaten both a double cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich in one sitting at a fast food restaurant. But never did it cross my mind to combine the two into one sandwich. Alie and Georgia have a YouTube series on how to make fast food cocktails. Take a look at their most famous concoction, the McNuggetini:

BPOW: Bacon Beer

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Perhaps the only thing better than bacon and chocolate is bacon and beer. Brooklyn Brewery has crafted a beer infused with Benton’s Country Smokehouse bacon called Reinschweinsgebot. Unfortunately, it isn’t available to everyone – cases of Reinschweinsgebot are limited, and currently it is only available at special events (including a $350 pairing dinner at Per Se in New York City this Friday evening).
