Isuzu might have had more success in the US if they had shown us commercials like these ones. Simply unbelievable that this is all real driving:

Presenting: Full Circle Bar

Monday, March 29th, 2010

Look at your desk. Now look at this video. Now back to your desk. Now back to this video. This video will make you want to be at Full Circle Bar and not at your desk:

Located at 318 Grand Street in Brooklyn, New York, Full Circle combines skee-ball, beer and hot dogs for a distinct Coney Island vibe. The bar is also home to Brewskee-Ball, the nation’s first ever competitive skee-ball league, where Blogadilla’s own Heywood and B Round are rollers.

Smells Like A Bonus Round:

Full Circle Bar drew inspiration from the brilliant Old Spice Super Bowl commercial, created by the genius minds at Wieden+Kennedy. Check out the making of Old Spice’s “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like” commercial for some great insight on how this ad was created, in one continuous shot.

Is Ben Folds Merton? (Chat Roulette Piano Improv Dude)

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Yes, folks: Blogadilla tech guru Steve B had it right when he claimed that Merton of Chat Roulette Piano Improv fame was none other than legendary keyboardist & singer Ben Folds. Here, Ben confirms our suspicion with a live “Ode to Merton” as part of his Charlotte, NC show the other day:

UPDATE: One step forward, one step back.

As you can see, I initially posted that Ben Folds was Merton, but this may not be the case. New York Magazine reports that this is not proof that Ben = Merton, but simply an instance where homage is being paid. I guess looking at it now, this proves nothing about who is who, and what is what. Nevertheless, enjoy Ben Folds’ take on Merton & Chat Roulette Piano Improv:

Update #2: Exclusive Interview with Merton– it’s looking less like he’s Ben Folds. But still great to get a bit of backstory on the newest Internet Celeb:

ERRATA: It has been brought to our attention that the above photo is a fake. In the original photo (below), the woman was actually trying to sell kittens (for pets or food).
