There is no denying the sexiness of the saxophone– or, for that matter, saxophone superstar Sergio Flores. This is an early candidate for Blogadilla’s Best Viral Video of 2011:

I should note, as numerous readers savvy commenters have pointed out, this is clearly inspired by SNL’s The Curse- a classic in its own right.

Stemming from the 1980s break dance movement, Northern California has pioneered a number of offshoot dance styles, including turfin, which stems from the acronym TURF: Tearin Up Room on the Floor. Shout to the Turf Feinz from my hometown of Oakland, CA, who I recently saw perform at White Collar Brawler.

Check out TF’s remarkably elegant video for a style of dance that’s as much street-inspired as it is linked to guys like Michael Jackson and even traditional dance like ballet:
